Product Profile
NIST-backed bridging for the post-quantum transition
Developed with support from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Itus Bridge™ helps government and industry networks adopt the newly standardized PQC FIPS algorithms with minimal operational disruption. It is a hybrid hardware-software module designed to operate at both the network edge and within core infrastructure nodes.
At the heart of the architecture is a programmable, quantum-resistant Hardware Security Module (PQC-HSM) that integrates two distinct cryptographic domains - one for classical encryption and one for post-quantum encryption - linked through a secure processor core enclave. This enables secure execution, cryptographic acceleration, and flexible programmability: a plug-and-play path between legacy and quantum-secure systems.
Key capabilities
Dual-stack cryptography
Simultaneous handling of classical and quantum-resistant traffic, with a dynamic key negotiation and translation layer.
NIST PQC algorithms
Integrates CRYSTALS-Kyber and CRYSTALS-Dilithium alongside legacy RSA, ECC, and AES-GCM.
Secure enclave execution
An enclave-based execution environment isolates keys and cryptographic operations from the host.
Real-time routing
A traffic classification and routing engine maintains operational continuity while primitives are upgraded.
Built for mission-critical deployment
Itus Bridge™ is engineered for SCADA systems, tactical communications, secure cloud environments, and embedded defense platforms - allowing networks to incrementally upgrade cryptographic primitives without interrupting operations. The initiative aligns with the DoD's cybersecurity modernization goals under Zero Trust and CMMC 2.0.
"The Itus Bridge™ module addresses a critical gap in the PQC transition roadmap - secure coexistence. Our collaboration with NIST ensures the module adheres to federal cryptographic standards while remaining adaptable to mission-specific constraints." - Heather Kinsy, President & CEO
Early Adopter Program
To validate performance and integration feasibility, Secure Micro is launching an Early Adopter Program for defense contractors, federal agencies, and industrial control system operators. Participants receive prototype modules, technical documentation, and direct access to our engineering team to evaluate latency, throughput, compatibility, and resilience against quantum-era threat models.
